Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, in collaboration with Pacific Northwest University, has completed construction of Miramar Dental, a new two-story, 18,111-square-foot dental clinic at 6335 W. Rio Grande Ave., at the corner of West Rio Grande Avenue and Kellogg Street in Kennewick.

The facility includes 22 dental chairs, faculty and administrative space, and a simulation lab to support both patient care and dental education.

Interior finishes feature a professional, modern design with wood ceiling accents to create a warm, natural atmosphere. The exterior incorporates exterior insulation and finish system (stucco) finishes with colors and architectural forms designed to complement the neighboring Miramar Health Center and create a cohesive campus.

Miramar Dental’s mission is to improve access to oral health care while strengthening the region’s healthcare workforce. The clinic combines dental education and patient care in one location, allowing students to train in a real-world setting while serving patients throughout the Tri-Cities and surrounding rural communities.

The construction contract totaled $6.04 million, excluding the cost of the land. Construction was targeted for completion during the week of June 22, with the clinic opening for business Aug. 3 and its first patients scheduled to be seen Aug. 10.

Chervenell Construction Company of Kennewick served as the general contractor.

Theorem Architecture Group of Yakima was the architect.
