An indoor agriculture company with a Pasco greenhouse was one of 1,000 companies named to TIME’s World’s Growth Leaders 2026 list.

The list recognizes companies globally and across industries for exceptional revenue growth, financial stability and stock performance over the past five years.

Twenty-five organizations in the food and beverage category were recognized, of which Local Bounti was the only “controlled environment agriculture,” or CEA, company to make the list.

“Being featured as the only CEA company named to the World’s Growth Leaders list reinforces the conviction that we're doing the right work to make a lasting impact to improve our food system,” said Kathleen Valiasek, Local Bounti’s president and CEO, in a statement.

Local Bounti’s Pasco greenhouse opened in May 2024 and has been contributing to the company’s financial growth, as well as the growth of its arugula offerings.
