The meeting will be from 6:15-8:15 p.m. at the HAPO Center and will coincide with a meet and greet with finalists for the city’s police chief, according to a release.
The current Sylvester Street overpass bridge over 395 is too narrow for pedestrians and cyclists to comfortably cross alongside motorized traffic, city officials say.
The project design is 60% complete but the city is still seeking funding for the project. City officials said they are pursuing grant opportunities with the aim of moving the project forward in 2027.
