McCurley Dealerships is launching its 23rd annual Hometown Food Drive, set to run through the month of October. In its 23 years, the program has provided 1.7 million pounds of food.

The food drive supports food banks across southeast and central Washington. In 2024, the drive raised $61,765, or more than 74,000 pounds of food.

In the Tri-Cities, McCurley is partnering with Yoke’s Fresh Market to put on the food drive. Donations can be made in three ways throughout the month of October:

  • A portion of every vehicle sold at McCurley dealerships will be donated to local food banks.
  • Community members can drop off non-perishable food items at McCurley showrooms during business hours.
  • Shoppers at Yoke’s can buy a $10 pre-packed food drive bag that will be distributed directly to food banks.

Collections will run through Oct. 31, and the funds will be distributed to local food banks in early November.

The food drive is also running in Yakima, where McCurley Subaru of Yakima is partnering with Wray’s Marketfresh IGA to support the Salvation Army of Yakima.
