Meals on Wheels menu - August 2025
Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels senior dining sites serve hot meals from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday (Tuesday through Friday in Connell.). Meals are free for seniors ages 60 and older.
Seniors must make reservations 24 business hours in advance by calling 509-735-1911.
Thursday, Aug. 7: Chicken enchiladas, Spanish rice, black beans, Mexican coleslaw.
Friday, Aug. 8: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, broccoli, cookie.
Monday, Aug. 11: Turkey tetrazzini, green peas, tossed salad.
Tuesday, Aug. 12: Cranberry chicken, confetti rice, peas and onions.
Wednesday, Aug. 13: Sloppy Joes, mixed vegetables, coleslaw.
Thursday, Aug. 14: Roast beef with gravy, mashed potatoes, Italian vegetables, wheat roll, ice cream.
Friday, Aug. 15: Tuna pasta salad, broccoli salad, crackers.
Monday, Aug. 18: Spaghetti and meat sauce, green beans, breadstick.
Tuesday, Aug. 19: Baked cod with dill sauce, herbed potatoes, squash medley.
Wednesday, Aug. 20: Chicken chop salad, salad greens, carrot sticks.
Thursday, Aug. 21: Three-bean chili, chuckwagon corn, cornbread.
Friday, Aug. 22: Roast turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, wheat roll.
Monday, Aug. 25: Sweet and sour chicken, brown rice, Asian vegetables.
Tuesday, Aug. 26: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, mixed vegetables.
Wednesday, Aug. 27: Tuna noodle casserole, Lyonnaise carrots, cake.
Thursday, Aug. 28: Hamburger, baked beans, apple cabbage slaw.
Friday, Aug. 29: Chicken Caesar salad, breadstick, cottage cheese and pineapple.
