Senior Times

Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels senior dining sites serve hot meals from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Meals are free for seniors ages 60 and older.

Seniors must make reservations 24 business hours in advance by calling 509-735-1911.  

Tuesday, March 3: Smothered pork bites, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables.

Wednesday, March 4: Beef lasagna, Italian vegetables, Caesar salad, breadstick.

Thursday, March 5: Chicken fajitas, rice and beans, flour tortilla.

Friday, March 6: Sloppy Joes, mixed vegetables, coleslaw.

Monday, March 9: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, broccoli.

Tuesday, March 10: Dijon chicken, sweet potato mash, seasoned beets.

Wednesday, March 11: Sweet and sour pork, fluffy rice, Asian vegetables.

Thursday, March 12 (St. Patrick’s Day meal): Corned beef and cabbage, herb roasted potatoes, seasoned carrots, dinner roll, green poke cake.

Friday, March 13: Turkey tetrazzini, squash medley, tossed salad.

Monday, March 16: Chicken pot pie, green peas, tossed salad.

Tuesday, March 17: Beef stroganoff, garlic noodles, green beans.

Wednesday, March 18: Macaroni and cheese sausage patty, garden vegetables, tossed salad.

Thursday, March 19: Roast beef with gravy, mashed potatoes, Italian vegetables, wheat roll, ice cream.

Friday, March 20: Breaded chicken sandwich and fixings, corn chowder, broccoli salad.

Monday, March 23: Chicken alfredo, Italian vegetables, breadstick.

Tuesday, March 24: Apple pork bites, mashed potatoes, seasoned beets.

Wednesday, March 25: Chili, mixed vegetables, cornbread.

Thursday, March 26: Chicken and rice casserole, green beans.

Friday, March 27: Beef tacos, rice and beans, salsa and sour cream.

Monday, March 30: Swiss steak, mashed potatoes, garden vegetables, cookie.

Tuesday, March 31: Cranberry chicken confetti rice, peas and onions.

  • Benton City Desert Rose Complex, 510 14th St.  
  • Pasco First Avenue Center, 505 N. First Ave. 
  • Pasco Ray Pfleuger Center, 253 W. Margaret St. 
  • Prosser Community Center, 1231 Dudley Ave. 
  • Meals on Wheels Cafe, 1834 Fowler St., Richland. No reservations required at this site.
