Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels senior dining sites serve hot meals from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday (Tuesday through Friday in Connell.). Meals are free for seniors ages 60 and older.  

Seniors must make reservations 24 business hours in advance by calling 509-735-1911. 

Wednesday, Oct. 2: Scrambled eggs with peppers, chuck wagon potatoes, bran muffin.

Thursday, Oct. 3: Breaded chicken, sandwich with fixings, corn chowder, broccoli salad.

Friday, Oct. 4: Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, country gravy, country vegetables, three bean salad.

Monday, Oct. 7: Chicken alfredo, Italian vegetables, breadstick.

Tuesday, Oct. 8: Apple pork chop, mashed sweet potatoes, seasoned beets.

Wednesday, Oct. 9: Chili, mixed vegetables, cornbread.

Thursday, Oct. 10: Chicken and rice casserole, green beans.

Friday, Oct. 11: Tuna noodle casserole, lyonnaise carrot, berry crisp.

Monday, Oct. 14: Swiss steak, mashed potatoes, garden vegetables.

Tuesday, Oct. 15: Cranberry chicken, confetti rice, peas and onions.

Wednesday, Oct. 16: Turkey and rice casserole, broccoli, tossed salad.

Thursday, Oct. 17: Roast beef with gravy, mashed potatoes, Italian vegetables, white roll, ice cream.

Friday, Oct. 18: Pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, coleslaw.

Monday, Oct. 21: Swedish meatballs, egg noodles, Normandy vegetables, cookie.

Tuesday, Oct. 22: Lemon pepper cod, fluffy rice, green peas, fruit.

Wednesday, Oct. 23: Barbecue chicken, roasted carrots, potato salad, cornbread.

Thursday, Oct. 24: Roast turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, wheat roll.

Friday, Oct. 25: Beef stir fry, fluffy rice, Asian vegetables, tossed salad.

Monday, Oct. 28: Herbed chicken, mushroom gravy, au gratin potatoes, tossed salad, yogurt and berries.

Tuesday, Oct. 29: Smothered pork chop, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables.

Wednesday, Oct. 30: Beef lasagna, Italian vegetables, Caesar salad, breadstick.

Thursday, Oct. 31: Chicken fajitas, rice and beans, flour tortillas.
