The Regional Home & Garden Show at HAPO Center, 6600 Burden Blvd., Pasco.
The city of Pasco has opened applications for those interested in securing funding from its lodging tax revenues for tourism-related projects in 2026.
The city’s lodging tax, also known as a hotel-motel tax, is assessed on anyone renting a room, campground or similar facility for less than 30 days. The tax rate is 4% and provided $850,000 in 2024, with roughly half of it going toward operation of the HAPO Center and the Pasco Sporting Complex.
Those requesting the funds can use them for any activities, operations or expenses intended to increase tourism in the city. That can include marketing efforts, special events and festivals, and operation and construction of tourism-related facilities.
Applications are available online, and close at 5 p.m. July 31.
