Costco has announced its Richland warehouse is opening in August.  

The Richland location was added to a public list of upcoming locations set for an August opening. Costco officials said there are no further details to share at this time. 

Original plans indicated that the Costco gas station would be completed in July, with warehouse construction wrapping up in October. 

The 3125 Queensgate Drive location is highlighted on Costco’s job application page under the header “Grand Openings.”  

The website noted that Costco is “always looking for qualified people as we open new locations,” but that the jobs listed are not necessarily available positions, but examples of the kinds of positions Costco may hire for when openings exist.  

Both Snagajob and ZipRecruiter list several job openings at the Richland location, from cashiers to forklift drivers and bakers to tire installers. 

Construction on the new warehouse has been underway since late 2024, when Costco signed a lease with the state Department of Natural Resources.  

The permit to build the 182,644-square-foot warehouse was valued at $24.6 million.
