Interested in helping shape future plans for the outdoor amphitheater at the Reach Museum as well as other public facilities in Richland? Now is your opportunity.
City officials are accepting applications until May 26 for two upcoming vacancies on the city’s Public Facilities District, or PFD, board, which is charged with acquiring, building and maintaining facilities that support the city’s regional center.
The board is currently focused on studying how the Reach’s amphitheater can better support community and cultural events. It selected the Arts Center Task Force, which has worked for decades to establish a performing arts facility in the Tri-Cities, to lead that work. The grassroots group has put out a survey to gather public input.
