• 5:30 p.m. April 11, Mid-Columbia Libraries, Kennewick branch, 1620 S. Union St., Kennewick. Bring your Own Book Book Club. Club seeks readers of all genres. Come chat about books you have enjoyed lately.

• 6:30 p.m. April 15, Richland Public Library, 955 Northgate Drive, “Spook” by Mary Roach. “Rules of Civility” by Amor Towles is the May 20 book. The group typically meets the third Monday of the month. Contact: Sue Spencer, [email protected] or 509-572-4295.  

• 1 p.m. April 17, Mid-Columbia Libraries, Pasco branch, 1320 W. Hopkins St., Pasco, “The Covenant of Water” by Abraham Verghese. “Tom Lake” by Ann Patchett is the May 15 book. The group typically meets the third Wednesday of the month. Contact Susan Koenig at 509-302-9878 or [email protected].  

• 1:30 p.m. April 18, Richland Public Library, 955 Northgate Drive, “Genghis Khan” by Jack Weatherford. “Lessons in Chemistry” by Bonnie Garmus is the May 16 book. The Thursday Afternoon Book Group meets on the third Thursday of each month from September through May. This book club does not meet during the summer months. The books for the coming year are selected by club members at an off-site meeting in June. Contact: Evelyn Painter, 509-942-8577.

• 6 p.m. April 23, Mid-Columbia Libraries, Benton City branch, 810 Horne Drive, Benton City, “The Vanishing Half” by Brit Bennett. 

• 7 p.m. the first Friday of the month, Caterpillar Cafe at Adventures Underground, 227 Symons St., Richland. Contact Sarah at 509-946-9893 for upcoming titles.
