Two more Mid-Columbia wineries are up for consideration on national top 10 lists, one for its tasting room and the other for its restaurant.

Kiona Vineyards & Winery’s scenic views were highlighted as the perfect backdrop for tastings, according to USA Today’s 10Best Reader’s Choice Awards. The contest similarly praised Vineyard Grill at Terra Blanca Winery & Estate Vineyard for its dishes complementing the estate’s wines.

They join Frichette Winery, which is under consideration for having one of the nation’s best wine clubs.

Vote for all three wineries until 9 a.m. July 21. Visit Tri-Cities sent a message to its members encouraging them to vote.

“This recognition goes beyond individual awards. It is a chance to shine a national spotlight on the Tri-Cities as a premier wine destination, attract more visitors, and support the small businesses that power our local economy,” the visitor’s association wrote. “Increased tourism means more hotel stays, restaurant visits, and shopping at local businesses.”
