Washington State University’s business school faculty is showing the same hustle as the enterprising business owners they study.
The university was recently recognized as on the world’s top universities for entrepreneurship research productivity, according to a release. The rankings, compiled by the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University, are based on the number of articles published in the field’s three top journals: Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice and Strategic Enterprise Journal between 2020 to 2024. WSU came in at No. 19.
“This recognition speaks to the strength and consistency of our entrepreneurship faculty,” said Robert Crossler, chair of the Department of Management, Information Systems and Entrepreneurship at WSU’s Carson College of Business, in a statement. “It highlights the quality of their research and the impact it continues to have on the field.”
