Kaizen Speed has completed a new 13,000-square-foot facility at 2589 Robertson Drive in Richland, providing the company with a larger, centralized location to support its growing performance vehicle business.

The building includes a 9,000-square-foot main shop, a 1,300-square-foot indoor vehicle storage area, and two 1,260-square-foot lease spaces, each featuring office, warehouse and restroom space. The main shop includes a showroom, conference room, mezzanine overlooking the shop floor, a dedicated clean engine assembly room, and a dyno room.

The facility will serve as Kaizen Speed’s one-stop location for performance vehicle service, as well as product engineering, design and manufacturing. The company said it built the new facility after outgrowing its downtown Kennewick location, where it has operated for the past 20 years.

The project cost about $2.5 million, including the land. Two lease spaces are available for $1,800 per month, triple net.

Peak Contractors Inc. of Kennewick served as the general contractor.

The metal building layout was designed by Kaizen Speed.

“I’m a lifelong Tri-Citian, my family came here in the 70’s. I love it here. I’m proud to finally operate this business from a location that will allow us to show the world what we can do,” said Reid Lunde, owner of Kaizen Speed, in a statement.

The project was completed in July 2026.
