Columbia Basin College has completed Hawks Landing Hall, a new student housing facility at 2108 W. Argent Road, at the corner of 20th Avenue and Argent Road in Pasco.

The 55,000-square-foot residence hall features 156 beds across four stories and a basement. Designed to meet growing student housing demand, the building offers a mix of private bedrooms and quad suites with shared living spaces, along with study rooms and student lounges on each floor. Exterior features include metal wall panels, a lighted hawk logo on the north side of the building, electric vehicle charging stations and photovoltaic solar energy production.

The $21.2 million project was built on college-owned land and was completed July 31.

Fowler General Construction served as the general contractor.

The project was designed by RGU Architecture and NAC Architecture. BTC-Hawks-Landing-2The new residence hall was built after Sunhawk Hall reached capacity, with waiting lists extending several years, demonstrating the need for additional on-campus housing options.

Monthly rates begin at $938 for a private room and $806 for a private room within a quad suite with shared living space.

For housing information, contact CBC at 509-542-4550 or email [email protected].
