The future Pasco aquatics facility will include lap lanes, two lazy rivers, children’s areas, an indoor/outdoor family hot tub, 35-foot tall slides, cabanas, onsite concessions, multiple rooms for family rental for quinceañeras and pizza parties and climbing walls over water, among other features.

Pasco’s new aquatics center is scheduled to open later this year and officials are seeking the public’s input on three possible names and logos for the facility.
The firm hired to assist in determining the aquatic center’s branding and identity has published an online survey to gather input on the proposed names – Pasco Aquatics Center, Sol Rio Aquatics Center and Dunes Aquatic Center – along with associated logos.
“Your input is key in choosing a name that best fits the facility, represents our community, and makes a lasting mark – you have the chance to make history,” according to the email sent to community members along with the survey.
Community members are encouraged to share the survey with others. Participants may provide contact information to possibly win a pass to the facility and be part of the grand opening name reveal.
The $40 million project is funded by a 0.2 % sales tax increase approved by voters in April 2022.
