A brewery which signed a lease in October for a space at Port of Kennewick’s Columbia Gardens Artisan Village is opening this month.
Wheat Head Brewing Company is opening Wheat Head on the Water at noon April 18, with free hop water offered all day.
The taproom and patio at 313 E. Columbia Drive, Suite 120, Kennewick, will be open to adults only, according to the website, while Columbia Gardens’ public spaces are family-friendly.
Wheat Head on the Water will offer Wheat Head beer and seltzer along with gust taps from local cideries and wineries along with non-alcoholic options.
While Wheat Head on the Water will not offer its own food, Columbia Gardens features a variety of food trucks in addition to Swampy’s BBQ, which visitors can take into the taproom.
Hours are still to be determined, according to the website.
Wheat Head Brewing Company’s original location first opened at 92308 E. Locust Grove Road, Kennewick, at the end of 22023.
