A public agency that supports facilities such as the Toyota Center, Three Rivers Convention Center and the Reach Museum is looking to fill three vacancies on its board of directors.
The five-member board of the Benton County Public Facilities District, or PFD, is responsible for supporting regional community assets that stimulate tourism and visitor spending by working with the Kennewick and Richland PFDs to support the facilities owned by those jurisdictions.
The PFD also has the authority to impose sales taxes to finance new and existing facilities, though it does not currently have one in force.
Anyone who lives in Benton County and is at least 18 is eligible to be appointed to the board by the Benton County Board of Commissioners.
Applications are due May 15, with appointees beginning their terms on July 1.
PFD board members serve for four-year terms.
