HAPO Community Credit Union recently celebrated the opening of its first West Richland branch on March 27.

Located at 6185 Keene Road, the new branch is near the City Administration building and next door to Firehouse Subs.

HAPO said during the May 2023 groundbreaking that the branch was its 20th financial center. HAPO, an acronym for Hanford Atomic Products Operations, was formed in 1953. Today, it offers services to 170,000 members.

The general contractor is Momentum of Seattle.

The architect is Larson Karle Architects, P.C. of Warren, Pennsylvania.

The West Richland branch’s lobby hours are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Drive-up hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday.
