Senior Times

Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels senior dining sites serve hot meals from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Meals are free for seniors ages 60 and older.

Seniors must make reservations 24 business hours in advance by calling 509-735-1911.  

Tuesday, Nov. 4: Dijon chicken, sweet potato mash, seasoned beets.

Wednesday, Nov. 5: Sweet and sour pork, fluffy rice, Asian vegetables, chocolate cake.

Thursday, Nov. 6: Hamburger, baked beans, apple cabbage slaw.

Friday, Nov. 7: Turkey tetrazzini, squash medley, tossed salad.

Monday, Nov. 10: Chicken pot pie, green peas, tossed salad.

Tuesday, Nov. 11: Closed for Veterans Day.

Wednesday, Nov. 12: Beef stroganoff, garlic noodles, green beans.

Thursday, Nov. 13: Breaded chicken, sandwich and fixings, corn chowder, broccoli salad.

Friday, Nov. 14: Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, country gravy, country vegetables, three bean salad.

Monday, Nov. 17: Chicken alfredo, broccoli Normandy, breadstick.

Tuesday, Nov. 18: Apple pork bites, mashed sweet potatoes, seasoned beets.

Wednesday, Nov. 19: Chili, mixed vegetables, cornbread.

Thursday, Nov. 20: Roast beef with gravy, mashed potatoes, Italian vegetables, wheat roll, ice cream.

Friday, Nov. 21: Arroz con pollo, squash medley, breadstick.

Monday, Nov. 24: Swiss steak, mashed potatoes, garden vegetables.

Tuesday, Nov. 25: Cranberry chicken, confetti rice, peas and onions.

Wednesday, Nov. 26: Roasted turkey, mashed potatoes gravy, stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce, roll, pumpkin bar.

Thursday, Nov. 27: Closed for Thanksgiving.

Friday, Nov. 28: Closed for Thanksgiving holiday.

  • Benton City Desert Rose Complex, 510 14th St.  
  • Pasco First Avenue Center, 505 N. First Ave. 
  • Pasco Ray Pfleuger Center, 253 W. Margaret St. 
  • Prosser Community Center, 1231 Dudley Ave. 
  • Meals on Wheels Cafe, 1834 Fowler St., Richland. No reservations required at this site.
