Courtesty Bledsoe Family WineryThe winery of NFL quarterback and Walla Walla native Drew Bledsoe has opened a new tasting room on the south side of Walla Walla, growing its footprint.
The new tasting room had a soft opening at the end of July and plans an official grand opening on Aug. 29. The location offers indoor and outdoor spaces overlooking the vineyards, as well as the opportunity for events for the winery’s wine club members as well as community members and visitors traveling to Walla Walla.
Bledsoe Family Winery broke ground on the new location at 3599 Pepper’s Bridge Road last fall, with representatives telling Northwest Wine Report that the current tasting room in downtown Walla Walla had become too small.
“The Walla Walla Valley has always been home base for my family ... and we’re proud to continue investing in the community that has shaped us,” said Bledsoe said in a statement. “We hope this is the kind of place where people settle in, share a great bottle of wine, reconnect with old friends and make a few new ones along the way.”
Bledsoe Family Winery, part of the broader Bledsoe Wine Estates, also operates a tasting room in Bend, Oregon.
