Washington parks officials are looking at shortening the time people are allowed to stay in state campgrounds.

The popular classic car event will once again cruise through Richland in June, following a challenging few years that included Covid-19 and more than one sponsorship change.

A multimillion-dollar renovation at Walla Walla's most famous hotel has taken place in the guest rooms and the west wing, the lobby and the food and beverage spaces, just in time for tourist season.

The iconic lobby of the Historic Davenport Hotel in Spokane could undergo some changes in the near future.

 Visit Tri-Cities estimates that baseball and softball tournaments will bring in more than $7.2 million in economic impact this year.

“This (new stage) will improve the vibe of the concerts. You’ve got the stage, the (Columbia) River and the sunset,” said Mark Blotz, general manager and partner of Clover Island Inn, who helped get the annual concert series going 19 years ago.

A new hotel still is planned for land next to the Fairchild Cinema in south Richland.

Visitors are back in the greater Tri-Cities. And so is their spending. 

The Hanford nuclear site’s only attraction open to visitors is set to close later this fall for two years to get some much-needed preservation repair work. 

A new upscale Japanese restaurant is planned for Kennewick’s Vista Field.
