The university’s Cougar Tracks continuing education program is bringing back its Ironman 70.3 Tourism and Hospitality Service Excellence Workshop following the success of last year’s offering.
The Aug. 19 workshop at the Richland Community Center aims to provide practical strategies to enhance visitor experiences and foster community pride, all to to benefit local businesses and leave triathlon visitors with a positive impression of the Tri-Cities region.
“This workshop is about more than training – it’s about showcasing Tri-Cities as a premier destination and strengthening our economy through outstanding service,” said Cougar Tracks Director Michelle Hrycauk Nassif in a statement.
The workshop will run from 9-10:30 a.m. and is recommended for hotel staff, restaurant employees, retail teams and other tourism industry professionals.
